We were very excited to see all of these items gifted to Cleveland Museum of Art by Mr. James and Mrs. Christina Heusinger. Please note, all items showing are not for sale. The size of Bowl 6 5/8" Dia x 2" High. Japanese Ko Imari Porcelain Bowl. The bowl is bit larger than regular Namasu bowl. The bowl has the unusual design of archer sitting at the front of Japanese house with wave design. Arrow hit dead eye center. There are two sections divided by gold decoration of dragon with flower design around. The condition of bowl excellent, no chip, no crack and no hairline...

185 mm x 110 mm x 30 mm. This is very attractive Ko Imari Dish from Mid 18th century, Kanen to early Horeki period. 1750’s. The plate has the design of Japanese Princess (Hime). She is dressed with 12 Hitoes Kimono. A junihitoe is a twelve-layered kimono worn by noblewomen during the Heian Era. The workmanship of polychrome design are elaborately decorated with green, gold and black... The size of Cup: 2 15/16" Dia x 2 1/2" H, 3 3/4" Long w/handle
The size of Saucer: 5 3/4" Dia x 3/4" High This is beautiful Japanese Koransha fine china set of 5 cups and saucers with the colored orchid design. Elegant and classy soft Turquoise and red orchid design with lavender leaves finely decorated with gold works. Each piece was marked with Koransha logo and Japanese Koransha name in gold... The size of Dish: 4 5/8" Dia x 1 " High. This is beautiful Japanese Ko Imari Porcelain Dish with fine painting of Ho-O bird design with treasure design done in three windows with another window of flower design by gold and Shu (Japanese red) color. The center of dish with Jurojin head in Sometsuke. There is marking of Seika Nensei (Chenghua Year Made) on the back of dish. Back side has Ho-0 bird and Reishi (Chinese mushroom) design...

It came with two Bells on the ear of Koro. It make sound of Kara-Kara(Japanese sound expression). This wonderfully made Hirado Koro is by 15th Nakazato Moemon. World renown Hirado artist... Front and back has flower design in the center. Top are with crescent like White area design. All works done in Hakeme (brush) work. It is well excuting Hakeme works... Rare form of Japanese KO IMARI Porcelain Charger Size : 12" Dia x 2 1/8" OSHIDORI(Mandarin Ducks) and GENROKU Figures design with fine gold Decoration Old Imari pieces. The quality of this charger is superb as I ever seen the combination of fine brush handpainting, the motif design with the gold as well as the shape and quality of porcelain itself. Seifu Yohei III (1850, Kiei 3rd, thru 1914, Taisho 3rd). He was born in name of Okada family, when he was young man he wanted to become as the painter so he became the student of Tanomura Chokunyu in Osaka and studied Japanese painting and Nanga painting but he gave up as the painter because of his illness... The size of Plate: 5 5/8" Dia x 1 1/16" High.
