This is nice Handpainted Japanese scroll Makuri painting with the subject of Suzume (Japanese sparrows). There are total of six sparrows beautifully painted Washi paper. Each sparrow are finely painted. The Makuri image are mounted on paper scroll with four sides are pasted on scroll body which is also made with paper. Jiku end (black wooden finish). Since the paper scroll is old, we recommend to mount on another new scroll body or put desire length of painting into framing. Or, storing the painting as rolled up.
