The size of Deep Bowl: 8 5/8” High x 11 1/4” Dia, 22 cm x 28.5 cm
This is beautiful Japanese Ko Imari Blue and White Deep Bowl.
It is from middle Edo, around 1780’s which is Anei to Tenmei Period.
The Bowl has the design of Ayame (Iris sanguinea) finely painted
In Sometsuke (Blue and White) with water, rock and bird design.
The top rim has Bekko (tortoise shell) design. This is not Hibachi
but it is rare form deep bowl. The condition of bowl as following,
there are three spots of Kintsugi (1 – 3 cm) and one Kamakizu.
It has beautiful contour form which is very rare to find in Ko Imari.
This deep bowl can be used for ideal planter.
