Beautiful Japanese Bijin-Ga, Beauty Scroll early 19c

The size of Scroll: 24" Wide Jiku (scroll) end to Jiku end, 21 7/8" Wide without Jiku End x 73" Long., Image area size: 16 1/8" Wide x 44"Long. This is very finely painted beautiful Japanese Bijin-Ga, Beauty Scroll painting. The scroll has Japanese Bijin-Ga, beautiful Japanese Lady with letter reading design painted. The soft touch of her hair as well as face expression is wonderfully painted. The color combination and coordination are great. The painting is done on silk background as well as silk border around. The condition of scroll is very good on image area except there are tiny spots of stain existing, no major stains in painted area. There are three green blurry spots on above silk border area. Similar darken blurry three spots on upper left side of painting area as our photos showing. There is some age wrinkles area mainly top scroll as well as lower scroll. The scroll is made of silk,both border as well as main painting area. The both Jiku end (scroll ends) are made of bone.The scroll has signature of artist name, Kouho as well as his chop seal on lower left. Dating the scroll from early 19c to mid 19 th century. 1820-1860, maybe older into late 18 century.Please note since the scroll is about 200 years old, worn spots on scroll are expected. Japanese writing Bijin (beauty) on the back of scroll. No problem for hanging.
