Lovely Japanese Scroll painting w/Ume and Uguisu Early 19c

The size of Scroll: 20" Wide with Jiku (scroll) end to Jiku end, 17 1/2" Wide without
Jiku End x 74” Long., Image area size: 12 1/2" Wide x 74"Long. This is very finely
painted beautiful Japanese Sumie Scroll painting. It has wonderful brush works. The scroll has
fine Sumie painting with the design of Ume (plum) blossoms and Uguisu (Japanese bird, Nightingale).
It has Kanji poem on upper right side. It is signed and sealed. Signature read as Kowa.
Scroll done by Japanese fine quality Washi (paper) on the border as well as painting area.
The border paper with silver lining. The condition is scroll is very good except noting, there are
some light stains on upper border area as photo showing and little deterioration. Left side Jiku end
has some red lacquer was missing but it has been repaired. There is a section on backside top has
reinforced restoration done as photo showing. So as section of top area and a couple of small spots
mended. The scroll dating from early 19 th century, 1800-1840's. The scroll hang well.
