This is Beautiful Japanese Porcelain Jar with fine paintings of total 6 windows design. Each window is painted with the design of six Japanese good luck (Engi) flowers and tree. Camellia (Tsubaki with bird), Plum Tree (Ume). Cherry blossoms (Sakura), Pine Tree (Matsu). Chrysanthemum (Kiku), and Sasanqua (Camellia Sazanka) on fine quality porcelain body. Top rim design with Kaminari Mon (Thunder crest design). Inside rim has beautiful tassel works design also are painted. All of flowers are very finely painted with the detail of flowers. Three windows on top and three windows are painted on bottom area. The white spots are raised with White glaze which I never seen before in Imari item. The condition of Jar is excellent, no chip, no crack and no hairline. Jar is dated from 1800’s, Late Edo (Edo kouki). Please note last photo of bottom area showing hard to see the outline of Jar. I have shown the jar with Plant which make lovely flowerpot or plant pot.
