This is wonderful highly collectible historic small camera from 1916. It is called Vest Pocket Kodak which was most popular camera in 1912- 1918 with the soldiers. It has serial number 605557 as photo showing which mean dated as 1916 made. Please checked it out the data sheet of serial number sheet on each Vest Pocket Kodak. Camera size is 4 3/4" L x 2 1/2" Wide x 1" Thick. (12 cm x 6.3 cm x 2.5 cm). The following site you can link to see the detail of original VPK information. It also came with very old leather case. The condition of camera excellent, except some black enamel missing at the front next to EASTMAN KODAK logo from age worn. There is one little screw missing at left side of aperture and f stop panel as photo No.6 showing with red circled. You can replace easy. All mechanical parts working fine. I never take the photo by this camera. I bought this camera with other camera collection in 1980, 41 years ago. All kept in cartons, those years. The price including US Priority mail insured. Please check any of data and specification from the site provided, //vpk.staff.shef.ac.uk/index.html

Single meniscus.
Between 1915 and 1926 the standard VPK camera was fitted with a single achromatic meniscus lens located behind its Kodak ball-bearing shutter. In front of the shutter is what appears to be a recessed lens hood, but is not. It is provided to restrict the maximum aperture available to avoid lens flare.
