Attractive Unusual Japanese Makie, Lacquer Stand w/ High Leg Meiji

The size of Lacquer Stand: 8 /5/8” High x 8 5/8” Square Tray on Top. This is beautiful Japanese Makie Takajoku, Lacquer Tray with High leg stand is made of Roiro Lacquer with Ume (plum) design done in gold makie. Flower is made of Yakogai (turban shell, lunica marmorata). The stand area with gold makie done in Sasa (bamboo grass) and other flower with rock formation. The condition of Lacquer Tray Stand is in excellent condition. Please note there is one spot on the edge of top tray has minor restoration done, as well as the top tray and bottom round joint stand sections area has restoration in 360 degree as photos showing. All restorations are done by Urushi (lacquer). There is no wooden box. The date of Kashidai from Meiji period, 1868-1912. The lacquer tray with high leg stand is used for serving confectionary, also sometime other food. Dating of this tray stand from Meiji period, 1868-1912.
