This is rare fine antique lithograph by Napoleon Thomas, French. It is not offset lithograph. The subject is famous artist Murillo Esteban with the Cardinal Don Fernando and his accompanist's visit to Murillo's studio. The painting Murillo painting is Immaculate Conception. It is explained below the lithograph in French and Spanish. It is finely and beautifully excuted painting work by Napoleon Thomas. The lithograph is produced by French Lithograph company which showing on the right side bottom corners as " Lith de Beaquet rue des Noyer 37 Paris", also noted on the left bottom as, " Paris Depot bulla fresr, Tiquentonne, 16" I purchased this old lithograph in 2000 and made the certificate in 2001. We will supply this original certificate when shipping the art work. I have attached the copy from Victoria and Albert Museum collection by Napoleon Thomas's work. It show that Lithograph with hand colored. I believe it is same way done on ours too. Please note this lithograph was came from Luxembourg as the label on the back showing. The color of work kept very well and not fade away.
