The size of Platel: 7 1/4" Dia x 1 1/2" High ( 185 mm x 37 mm). This is very attractive Blue and White Japanese Hirado Porcelain Plate. It has the design of Sansui (landscape) design. There is 5 Ben (5 flower petal design which used for very old Hirado) in the center. One area with pretty geometric design. Backside has four flower design. There is Kaou (studio or artist) signature in the center of Kodai (foot rim). The design are done by hand painted with fine work of stencil. The condition of plate excellent, no chip, no crack and no hairline. Also no warp, well balanced. Almost none scratch. It is dated from Taisho to early Showa, 1920-50's.
