The size of Tea Pot: 5 1/2" Long with spout, 4" Dia bottom, 4 11/16" High Beautiful Fine Quality Chinese Porcelain Famille Rose Pot. Pot used had cover. It is made with fine quality porcelain. Mother and child riding on Kirin(mystical creature, dragon head with horse body) with two boys fron and back with banner. The color and workmenship are well done. The purple rose color are particulary good. The green color of photo are little dark. Actual green is little softer. Very rare size pot. The body of porcelain is finely made which can see the light thru. The condition of pot is excellent, no chip, no crack and no hairline. The spout has little kiln smoke. Dating from Qing dynasty, dating around Qianlong to Tongzhi. Late 18th to mid 19th century. |
