| The size of Bowl: 10 1/2" Dia x 3 1/2" High. It is very unusual 12 sided Japanese Ko Imari Porcelain Bowl. It has very nice shape and works of fine quality porcelain. It has 12 zodiac Kanji letters with men in the boat inside circle. Six Marumon design with men on horse. Inside outer side wall has very intricated design of geometric design with plum flower and othe flower design in between. Outside with vine and leaves design. The top edge has Beni(brown) finish. The condition of bowl excellent, no chip, no crack and no hairline as well as almost none wear on sureface. There is few spots outside with glazing repelled. Dating from Late Edo(Edo kouki), 1820-1840 around Tenpo Period. | |||||||||||||||
