Tray size: 9 1/16" L x 4 5/16" W, Box size: 3 3/4" L x 2 1/2" W x 1 9/16" H, Ash Tray: 3 3/4" L x 2 1/2" W x 1 9/16" H.
Pretty Japanese Metal works Tabacco set. The box has nice work of mandarin ducks and cherry blossoms works. All of works are raised. The material of metal not known, however it appear zinc or bronze alloy work. Raised works are casted and detail area works are done in hand carved. Inside box and cover has gold like finish. The condition of set excellent. No damage. It came with Kiri Box. Dating from Taisho to early Showa, 1920-1930's. |
