| The size of Covered Bowl: 4 1/2" Dia x 3 1/2" High. Unusual Japanese Ko Imari Covered Bowl. The bowl is made by nice quality porcelain. It has Shippo(treasure design) on the side with detail work of window design by geometric design. between them, there are gold Karakusa with red background. It is marked on the cover. It has Scenery design with wider band of Sometsuke inside bowl and cover rim area which first time I seen this kind design inside. The center of cover and bowl has Sho-Chiku-Bai design. The condition of covered bowl excellent, no chip, no crack and no hairline. Inside has one Hittsuki and a couple of pinpoint original kiln spot. A couple of little enamel loss spot on outside. Dating from early 19c, Late Edo. This is last bowl we have. We had two originally. | |||||||||||||
