| The size of Satsuma Vase: 4 15/16" x 2 7/8" Dia. Beautiful and fine Kyoto Satsuma Vase. Vase is made from fine quality Kyoto Satsuma with fine crackle body. It has emaculate wokemenship of painting entire vase. There are two main window design. One with bijin-Ga, and other side with Kuge(imperial family) design. The paintings details is just wonderful as well as motif works between windows and on the shoulder. It is signed Ryuzan. The condition of vase excellent other than one area on top rim has restoration done which showing last two photos. There is one round spot which showing on 2nd photo at right side next to window design. I do not know whether it was left out not painted or not. Dating from Meiji, 1868-1912. | |||||||||||||||
