| The size of Satsuma Vase: 4 7/8" High x 2 3/8" Dia. Stunning Japanese Satsuma vase. It is one of most beautiful Satsuma work ever seen in such a small size vase with so many detail works painted with fine manner. It has large window of Samurai gathering with master and his deciple. Other side large window with three Rakan with boy and girl painted. Smaller window works are daily life lessons how people living in daily life with manner. There are enourmous wokmenship between windows by very fine detail work of geometric gold works over different colors. The color underneath of main work is pale blue which I never seen before. The condition of vase excellent, no chip, no crack and no hairline. The gold works are excellently preserved. Dating from Meiji period, 1868-1912. | |||||||||||||||
