| The size of Covered Bowl: 4 3/8" Dia x 2 7/8" High. This is one of most amazing Ko Imari Porcelain Covered Bowl ever seen since I have dealt Ko Imari pieces. It is made with fine quality porcelain and shape of covered bowl. It has fantastic design inside and outside. Outside four dragon design mon type design connecting with flowers with the gold work. Inside cover as well as bowl has fantastic detail design of wind wheel design done with blue underglaze and geometical design in very fine red decoration. Between them, orchid type flower with gold work. The outside border with flowers. It has marking inside cover knob. The condition of covered bowl excellent, no chip, no crack and no hairline. Little bit red wear on red ring. Dating from Edo, Bunka Bunsei period, 1800-1820. We have a pair available. Price on request. | ||||||||||||||
