| The size of Silver Hammer: 4 1/2" Long x 2 3/16" High, 2" Dia. Very nice Japanese Sterling Silver (jungin) Hammer. The this hammer is Noshi Osae which mean it is used for holding down Noshi(Japanese traditional happy ocassion decoration with gift item). This case is for wedding gift Noshi holder. The bride keep this Kozuchi(hammer) with her bank book or note in the Tansu chest so that it will bring the money into the household or saving the money for the family. The hammer depict the design of wooden hammer with the wooden grains. It weighs 6 full ounces which is 170 gram. Nice heavy weight. It has "Jungin"(pure silver) marking at the backside of hammer. The condition of silver Hammer excellent. It came with red tassel. It came also with Kiri(paulownia wood) box written outsied, Jungin, Takara Zuchi(tresure hammer).
