| The size of Bowl: 5 7/8" Dia x 1 1/2" High. Japanese Porcelain Kutani Bowl. The bowl has wonderful detail painting of gold and brush works. The subject is two Sennin(super human being) sitting around at the mountain side. Left one is Gama Sennin(toad Sennin) other one is Tekkai Sennin who can send out his half by blowing out little figure. The both figure are so well painted with gold workk. The top rim area decoration is facinating with bamboo leaves, flowers and other gold work on brown glazing. Backside with cherry blossoms design. It is marked Kutani Sei. The condition of bowl is excellent, no chip, no crack and no hairline. Dating from Meiji period (1868-1900). | |||||||||||||
