| The size of Covered Bowl: 4 1/4" Dia x 2 1/2" High. Beautiful Japanese, Kakiemon-Te(Kakiemon style) Porcelain Covered Bowl. It has wonderful brush strokes paiting of Chinese wisemen around the whole cover and bowl. Each brush stokes are very fine ones. Fine polychrome works of kakiemon including gosu blue. Inside has pomegranate design done with fine lines. The condition of covered bowl excellent, no chip, no crack and no hairline. A couple of Hittuki inside the cover. No enamel flake loss by age. There is one spot of boy cloth righside shoulder which never had the glaze from begining. It is not enamel flake loss. Dating from late 18c to early 19c. Early Edo Kouki, 1780-1810.
