| The size of Pipe Case: 8 3/4" Long x 1 1/4" w x 3/4" thick. Pouch size: 4 1/8" L x 3 1/8" x 3/4". Clasp Crab size: 1" Long. Ojime: 5/8" Long. Very Shibui Japanese Antique Kizeru-Zutsu and Tabacco Ire(Tabaco Pouch). Kiseru-Zutsu is made from Stag Horn with wonderful Shippo design carved on so much detail and uniformely done. Ojime is made with gold material. Tabako pouch is made with leather and worked with silver wire on the each side for frame work. The Crab design clasp is done with Gold work so much tiny work in 1 inch wide with leg, texture of crab skin. Inside pouch snap (rectangular) als made with silver with wooden grain finish. So much works involving in this Tabako Ire and pipe case. The pipe case is Muso style. There is even original tabacco still inside. The condition of Pipe case and tabacco pouch are very good except noting that there are open work at the end of pipe case as last photo showing which we can not figure out the purpose of opening. Fine condition. Dating from late Edo to Meiji period, 19the century. | |||||||||||||||
