| The size of Shell Bowl: 5 7/8" Long x 3 3/4" Wide x 1 3/8" High. Rare design of Japanese Inu(dog) on Hirado Shell Shape Porcelain Bowl. The bowl is made from fine quality Hirado Porcelain and shape of Shell. The design inside and edge has the Japanese dog puppy done in red and blue with gold lines. The treasure design on the side with plue blossoms, bloom, Kozuchi(money maker) beautifully decorated. The condition of shell bowl is excellent, no chip, no crack and no hairline. The bowl sit well. Very tiny Hittsuki at upper inside blue spot as photo show which is not flaw, from original. Dating from Edo Kouki (late Edo). 1850-60. 2006 is year of Inu(dog) in Japanese zodiac calender. | |||||||||||||||
