Very Unusual Chinese Jade Panel w/Stand 19th C

The size of Jade Panel: 2 3/4" Long x 1 7/8" Wide x 1 1/4" Thick. With Stand: 4" High x 2 1/2 Wide x 1 7/16"Deep. Very unusual Chinese jade piece. It has design of some kind leaf design on one side, other side with, Kanji letters, "Tenka Taihei" mean "World peace". It came with the very nice antique Shitan wooden stand. The design of Jade is rather primative which tell very old design. Very clear jade stone. It has also two holes which probably used for some kind necklace or ceremonial piece. The conditon of jade is excellnet, no chip, no crack and no hairline. Little bit wear. It is jade not glass. Dating is from early to mid 19th century. |
