The size of Charger Bowl: 15 1/4h Dia x 3 1/2h High. Very unusual and rare Chinese Antique Ming Charger Bowl with Gosu Akae(Red) design. The bowl is porcelain. The bowl has Red and Green decoration. The design on the bowl is Flower/Bird/Two Dragons. The bird design in the center of bowl. Two dragons on the side wall. The red color decoration has been faded away by age, but there is no scratches on the surface of bowl. However, the tracing mark of red decoration are well intact in the detail on the surface which you can seen partially from photo #9 . The green enamel works has black lines with it. The glazing of bowl has very pale green glaze. The condition of bowl is excellent, no chip, no crack and no hairline other than red decoration. There is one original stick of green enamel spot inside of foot rim as last photo show. The age of this unusual Gosu Akae Bowl is from late Ming Dynasty(1368-1640). Estimated $500.00-$600.00.
