Unique Wood Sculpture, The Harmony, 1982 by E. Kawanabe

Material: Mixed Media, Cypress wood, Gesso & Brass Post.
It is very unique wood sculpture of three objects
as seeing in the photos. Two objects has one side with
rounded with carved area filled with gesso inlaid, and carved out
white area finished with brown paint. Same manner done on other
side with carved out the design of triangle shape, carved out gesso
and finished with brown paint. One below has plain finish.
Each objects are holding down with brass post to the base.
The base’s front area with natural tree bark with carved
Out spot filled with gesso and carved out the design as seen.
One of middle object is mobile because holding down by one post
as seen in the photo.
The price of sculpture including US Priority
mail insured which cost around $70.00 because of size carton.
It is very unique and interesting design Wood sculpture.
The wood sculpture coated with gross clear enamel.
It is great free standing unit for display or into your cabinet.

Edward Kawanabe (1947 - ) He was born in Kyoto, Japan in 1947 which was the ancient capital city and center of arts and culture in Japan over 1300 years before moved toTokyo. He came to USA after graduated Ritsumeikan University in Kyoto with the bachelor of Law degree. He has a total experience of 30 years in the Fine Art and Antiques business as well as Exporting. During his earlier time Edward have studied at El Centro Junior College Art Department between 1978 thru 1985 for Drawing, Design, Painting, Ceramics, Sculpture as well as Photography before he became Art dealer of Fine Art Paintings, Prints, Japanese Art Painting, Japanese Porcelain, Ceramics, as well as Lacquer items. His passion toward Fine Art and Japanese Art as well as other art forms are never ending. Sanai Fine Art is starting to introduce his works in Drawing, Painting as well as Black and White photograph
