This is one of great Ko Imari reference book published by Kyushu Ceramic Museum, Akihiko Shibata in 2001 for Commemorative Exhibition of The Shibata Collection. It contain 574 items and photos of Ko Imari pieces from early 17 th century to early 18 th century. Majority items from up to 1700's. Each item is written in Japanese with color photo. However, each item has plate number which you can look at glossary at the end of page with Title, number, Date, Dimension of item, where is made. Introduction and outline are written in English. There is 4 pages written in English, greetings, and 2 pages written by Shibata Akihiko regarding to Early Arita Porcelain included in 4 pages. To identify each item, you just look at the photo plate number at the backside book which showing all information.
