The Size of Covered Bowl: 4 1/8" High x 4 " Dia. Size of Bowl: 2 15/16" High x 4 " Dia. Size of Cover" 3 11/16" Dia x 2 11/16" High. This is fine Japanese Lacquer Covered Bowl set of 5 pcs. It is made wooden body. It came with original wooden store Box. Each covered bowl has Gold design of pine needle design inside cover as well as Pine tree and pine needle leaves design done in Hira Makie. Inside has Roiro makie finish. The outside show wooden grains finish done with reddish purple clear lacquer finish which make very attractive. The condition of set is mint condition. The set never been used.
Set came with Wooden Box as first photo showing. Japanese writing on wooden box cover said, "Makie Etsuke" (lacquer design), "Ko Suimono" (small soup bowl). The dating of Lacquer covered bowl set from 1979. It is beautifully preserved 40 years old fine vintage item.
