This is rare work by Gerard Laplau.
I have purchased this lithograph in 1988. I had this beautiful and joyful lithograph by Laplau 31 years. We enjoyed to look at every moment we looked at. The scene from Wedding day in France, and there are about 100 peoples I counted. Everybody are enjoying the wedding day. It is one of best work done by Laplau. It just give you joyful time at the wedding day. Everybody are cheerful, even the dogs and other animals. It came with the certificate of authenticity from Parkwest Gallery. This is one of art works I purchased when I started buying art. I hope we find the customer who love this wonderful work. The colors are brilliant. It never been exposed to light. We will send you original COA when we ship the item.

Gerard Laplau is a French folk artist. His most famous work is probably the naif series from Villeroy & Boch. He died on July the 14th 2009 in Saint-Cere, France. His works reproduced numbers of items on ceramics in France and very popular even in Japan.
