The unframed sheet and Image size: 33 1/2" L x 23 1/2"H. Original Handpulled Plate(15 plates) Lithograph by Famous French Artist ANNE LAN. Printed on arches paper in Paris. Anne Lan born in Limousin France, received numerous awards. The title of "REVE DE CHAT" It is signed and numbered by Artist Edition number 123/220. The condition of work excellent. Anne Lan was born in Limousin, France of country doctor parents. She has two children. Comingt to Paris for continuing her higher education and to study pre-entrance course, she instead decided to begin painting professionally. Descended from a Vietnamese father and French mother, she has integrated both of these cultures into her art. Since 1978, Lan has had a number of one-woman shows in Paris, as well as in other areas of France, and internationally. She exhibits regulary at the Grand Palais, with the independents, at the Societe Nationale des Beaux Arts, at the Salon " Comparaisons". Two Museumss in Province dedicated one-woman shows to Lan:Ernest Rupin in Brive Museum, Museums of Coloitre a Tulle, as well as the Chateau de Sediere en Correze and the Abbaye de Chancelade(Perigueux). She has exhibited in Berlin, in Libreville, Gabon, and at Art Expo in Los Angeles and New York, USA. She also exhibited in Switzerland, and in Osaka, where she received the Gold Medal of the International Festival. The numerous Salon awards that Anne Lan as received indicate her extraordinary career. Most recently she has received the Bronze Medal of the city of Paris, the Silver Medal of Art, Sciences and Letters, the Steiss Sarrouy Violet prize, the Jury Bernay prize, amongst others. In 1988 Lan attended the Chateau d'Exideuil in Perigord, and had one w-man exhibits in Paris at Mairie du Ixeme in Paris October and at the Salons Ricard in November 1988.
