Fine Japanese Hakuji White Porcelain Bowl by Seifu Yohei III Dragon

The size of Bowl: 7 1/4” Dia x 3 3/4” High. This is finely made Japanese Hakuji, White Porcelain Bowl by Seifu Yohei III (1851-1914)who was the member of Teishitsu Gigeiin . The bowl has the design of Unryu (Dragon and Clouds) in Ukimon(raised, relief design finish) done by white glazing which is famous for Seifu Yohei III works. Inside bowl is plain white, no design. Please not since it is very difficult to photograph with white design on white porcelain. We have listed several photos with high contrasted on 3rd page after Tomobako photo. These photo colors are not actual colors of bowls. The bowl came with Tomobako as well as Tomonuno. The cover of Tomobako has Japanese writing, “Hakuji” (white porcelain), “Hachi” (bowl) with Seifu III’s chop seal. Inside cover has “Yohei Zo”(Yohei made) with his chop seal. Tomonuno(matching cloth) has seal of Seifu as well. There is carved, inscription marking inside Kodai(foot rim), “Dai Nippon Seifu Zo” (Dai Nippon Seifu Made). The condition of bowl excellent, no chip, no crack and no hairline. One little spot on the rim with glaze missed, 8th photo of first page. The bowl was made around Meiji 30th or little earlier.
