The size of each Tokkuri: 4 13/16" High x 2 15/16" Dia (widest). Beautiful fine porcelain Iroe Tokkuri in Pair by Seifu Yohei III ( 1851-1914). The body of tokkuri was made with very fine Kyoto Yaki white porcelain finely(thinly) made. Each tokkuri has "Mokuren"(Japanese Magnolia) flowers design. Each flowers are painted with preciely with gold line decorated. Each tokkuri has the seal of Seifu Yohei III. It came with Tomobako and Tomonuno with Red seal of Seifu. The cover of Tomobako written in Japanese, "Mokuren Bana Ga"(Magnolia flower painted). "Bin Ittsui" (Pair of bottle). The name of Bin was used on Tokkuri in Meiji period. Inside cover has, "Seifu Zo"(Seifu made) by Seifu III's own writing., also has chop Seal of Teishitsu-Gigeiin. The condition of pair tokkuri excellent, no chip, no crack and no hairline. One of tokkuri bottom edge inside has little Hittsuki. It is made between 1893, Meiji 26 thru 1914, Taisho 33rd, 1914. Itis guarantee the pair tokkuri were made by Seifu Yoehi III. Please note, the photo for pair shot has camera lens distortion which made leaning outward, but actual tokkuri are both straight, and no leaning.
