Rare Boat Shape Bowl by Seifu Yohei III

The size of Boat Shape Bowl: 6 1/2" Long x 3 3/8" Wide x 1 15/16" High. It is very precious little treasure done by Seifu Yohei III with Tomobako and Tomonuno we found. It is the bowl in the shape of boat with finely painted over Kyoto awata satsuma crackle glazing fine body. I took many pictures because so many angle and subjects. The subject of painting outside with Chidori(Japanese plover) with reed design. The wokmenship is fantastic and attractive. Two Chidori one side on Chidori on otherside. Inside has Chidori as well as Mizu-Mo(water grass) with tiny pebble depicting water seen. There are pinkish glazing which showing as evening effect with sun showing. (pinkish round, it is purposely painted this way, and not kiln flaw). Actual water grass color is better in person. It came with Tomobako, outside box cover, first right 4 kanji letter, "Seki Hon Saiga"(handpainted design of marsh or little bay), "Funagata Ko Hachi"(boat shape small bowl). The rectangler seal of Seifu which appear on brinkely seal ref number #486. Little bottom area clearly pressed. Inside cover has signature, "Yohei Zo"(Seifu Yohei III's signature, and made). Chop seal is same seal on your Seifu Yohei III's Ho-O bird carved vase Tomobako, Brinkley seal ref #478. It also came with Tomonuno with Seifu chop seal on it. Boat shape bowl has seal of Seifu as well. It is no doubt this is made by Seifu Yohei III. New discovery of his work. The condition of bowl is excellent, no chip, no crack and no hairline. One side of bottom boat edge has little roughness as my very last photo showing on #2 photo group. I belive the bowl was made before Seifu III became Teishitsu Gigeiin around 1890's. Little note, the outside Tomobako has No.481 written on paper attached.
