The size of carving with the satand: 6 1/2", without stand 5 3/8" High. The top of Ivory's thickness, 5/8", then slendering down. Beautifuly carved Chinese Dancer's Head in Ivory. The stand is heavy rosewood stand. Carving is done with nice detail ope works around. Especially nice open works on top of head with phoenix bird design and hair decoration. The subject of carving from Chinese imperial court dancer's head. The condition of carving excellent, no chip, no crack and no hairline. Dating from late Qing dynasty to early 1930's.
