The size of Vase: 9 3/4" Dia x 9 1/16" High. It is wonderful underglazed white relief (Yokoku), raised Karakusa design work on Ivory White porcelain body vase by Seifu Yoehi IV(1871-1951), the son of Seifu Yohei III. The vase is done over ivory white porcelain body with carved Karakusa design with special glazing finish same type works invented by Seifu Yohei III. It is called Kan-paku-ji. It came with Tomobako, but no cloth. It came also with Shitan wood stand. The cover of Tomobako sais, "Kan-paku-ji, Karakusa, Hori"(white porcelain, Karakusa, carved). Then, "Kabin"(flower vase) with seal of Seifu. Inside cover has, "Sefu Zo, kore"(Seifu made. this). Seal of Seizan. The bottom of vase has carved inscription name, "Seifu". Signature of Seifu IV.
