| The size of Plate: 8 3/4" Dia x 1 1/2". Very pretty Japanese Imari Plate. The Plate has beautiful detail works of blue and white ungerglaze by Inban (very intricated hand finished stamp work), Inban was already used in early Imari pieces. Very intricately worked around the center of plate with the design of Karako(chinese children). The children's movement is well expressed. The border has very detail painstakingly done work too. Unusaul one. The condtition of plate is excellent, no chip, no crack and no hairline. There is one hittsuki rightside tree. There are several age hairlines which are not from outside forces rather age at the backside of 6 o'clock. it does not catch the fingernails as forced cracked hairline. Those hairlines only on outside, not inside plate. Very little wear. Wonderful example of Inban work. Dating from early Meiji(1868-1890). Estimated $120.00-$140.00. Please pay actual shipping cost. | ||||||||||||
