| The Size of Vase: 9 1/2" High x 5 1/4" Dia(Widest). The most unusual and unique Kutani Porcelain Vase. The Vase is done with 5 Horses design painted very well and unique. The front area with three horses, one white, one brown and other darker. There are two other horses on the other side. Again one white horse, and other with darker color. The white horses are painted with heavier enamel work. All of them has fine expression of their faces and uniquely painted. Highlighted with gold clouds. The vase are covered with beige color. The neck area is painted with the design of bridle and green dotted background. The vase is signed Kien(artist name) Sei. The condition of Vase, excellent, no chip, no crack and no hairline. There is little kiln ash powder spots on the top rim as well as the bottom. They are not on vase body. Dating from Meiji(1868-1912). | |||||||||||||||
