He was born in name of Okada family, when he was young man he wanted to become as the painter so he became the student of Tanomura Chokunyu in Osaka and studied Japanese painting and Nanga painting but he gave up as the painter because of his illness...

The size of Kogo: 2 3/4" Dia x 1 5/16" High. This is beautiful Japanese Roiro, Black Makie Kogo (incense box). It has four makie leaves design with silver, gold, red, and dark green color with gold works. Inside Kogo with silver finish. The condition of Kogo excellent, no chip, no crack and no hairline. It does not come with Tomobako, match box by artist, but we will supply wooden box. Dating from after war 1950-1960's.

The size of Screen: 70" Long x 24" High x 9/16" Thick, when the screen spread. Each panel 35" Long. Beautiful Japanese Byobu screen.. It is all hand painted on Japanese paper. The background where clouds area done in gold leaf works. The painting subject from Genpei Gassen. I pasted the subject below. The painting of each Samurai figures are well excuted. The screen is done from late Edo to early Meiji period, 1850-1870's...

The Size of Obi: 12 1/4" Wide x 176 "( 14 feet). This is wonderful Fine Japanese Kyo Obi with Platinum works with silk. Obi has Japanese Katakana marking at the end “PURACHINA” (platinum). It is not made of Platinum Haku (leaves) rather Platinum threads. It has beautiful Goshoguruma (Imperial wheel carrier). It has also the flower design of Peony, Chrysanthemums as well as other flower design. The clors are very delicately composed. As Fukuro Obi, there is a blank area as photographs...

The Size of Bamboo Flower Vase Basket: 10 1/4" Wide x 7 7/8" Deep x 12 1/4" High, 26 cm x 20 cm x 31 cm. Nice unusual Japanese Bamboo Flower Vase Basket. The flower vase made with finely woven bamboo. The condition of Bamboo vase, excellent. There is one spot has crack as last photo making with red circled. It is dating from Meiji period. Please note there is no Otoshi (drop).

The size of Basket: 8 5/8" Dia x 14 1/2" High　22 cm Dia x 37 cm High. This is lovely Japanese Bamboo Basket. The date of Bamboo Basket from Meiji Period, 1868-1912. The condition of basket Excellent. No Flaws. There is carved inscrption marking on the bottom of basket as, "Uguisu-do Sei" (Uguisudo made).

The size of Makie Kobako: 3 3/4" Long x 3" Wide x 3" High. This is Amazingly Fine Japanese 19 th Century Japanese Antiques Makie Kobako(small box). The Kobako has Roiro(black) background Makie with Hira Makie gold design of Japanese trees as well as Japanese Kamon(family crest). One tree looks like Magnolia tree with flowers. It is finely done.
